We have been on baby watch today and Nathan James Lilly finally entered the world at 1:34 p.m. this afternoon. Mom and baby are doing fine. The first card is Baby Nathan’s first card made by Grandma Susan. It was created with a piece of designer paper from Hobby Lobby. The sentiment was created with Stampin’ Up Well Written dies and Stampin’ Up Playful Alphabet dies. The second card is for the Lilly family, which includes a big brother (2 yo). This card was created with Stampin’ Up Whale of a Time dsp, and the smaller turtles are from SU Whale Done and the larger turtles are from SU From Land to Sea.

With Deepest Sympathy
Sympathy card, for which inspiration came from Becky’s Stamping Spot. The green layer was embossed with Stampin’ Up Layered Leaves. The dsp is SU Forever Greenery. The sentiment is from SU Peaceful Moments, cut with SU Tasteful Labels dies.
Happy Veterans’ Day
Our Veteran’s Day card for 2020. The flag is a paper napkin that I adhered to cardstock. The person and the sentiment are from Colorado Craft Company Military Strong stamp set. I colored the person with Prismacolor colored pencils and gamsol.
Anniversary Wishes
Anniversary card created with Stampin’ Up Bloomin’ Hearts dies, Many Mates for the sentiment, which was cut with the Label Me Fancy punch and all adhered to a layer that was embossed with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.
Adventure Awaits
Birthday card, inspired by Stampin’ Studio, created with Stampin’ Up Come Sail Away dsp, Smooth Sailing dies and Beautiful World for the sentiment.
Happy Birthday
Two birthday cards created using a new (to me) technique of laminating napkins or tissue paper. This technique only laminates one side of the napkin/tissue paper making it like printed acetate and it is not slick on the back. I used tissue paper for both of my cards. The first card also uses Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane for the flowers and SU Well Written dies for the sentiment. The second card uses Stampin’ Up Band Together for the flower, which I colored with colored pencils and gamsol then fussy cut out, and SU Playful Alphabet for the sentiment.
Just Breathe
Encouragement card created with Stampin’ Up Sending Sunshine
No Words
Sympathy card created with Stampin’ Up Forever Fern and Dear Doily for sentiment. Inspiration from Pampered Stamper.
