Welcome Baby Nathan!

We have been on baby watch today and Nathan James Lilly finally entered the world at 1:34 p.m. this afternoon. Mom and baby are doing fine. The first card is Baby Nathan’s first card made by Grandma Susan. It was created with a piece of designer paper from Hobby Lobby. The sentiment was created with Stampin’ Up Well Written dies and Stampin’ Up Playful Alphabet dies. The second card is for the Lilly family, which includes a big brother (2 yo). This card was created with Stampin’ Up Whale of a Time dsp, and the smaller turtles are from SU Whale Done and the larger turtles are from SU From Land to Sea.

Happy Birthday

Two birthday cards created using a new (to me) technique of laminating napkins or tissue paper. This technique only laminates one side of the napkin/tissue paper making it like printed acetate and it is not slick on the back. I used tissue paper for both of my cards. The first card also uses Stampin’ Up Daisy Lane for the flowers and SU Well Written dies for the sentiment. The second card uses Stampin’ Up Band Together for the flower, which I colored with colored pencils and gamsol then fussy cut out, and SU Playful Alphabet for the sentiment.
