Thinking of You

Card for a friend of mine who is having a myriad of health issues. She is currently in a nursing home, so trying to raise her spirits. Taped the edges of the card stock to give the impression of a frame. Then I brushed Ranger Distress Oxide inks on the watercolor card stock and spritzed it with water. After it dried, I stamped it with Stampin’ Up Lovely as a Tree. Outside sentiment is from Gina Marie Stamps. Inside sentiments from Stampin’ Up Beautiful You (Life may not be the party we had hoped for, but while we’re here we might as well dance, and Wishing you brighter days to come).

Happy Birthday!

Birthday card using Happy Birthday thinlets and Seasonal Layers thinlets from Stampin’ Up. Background was made by softly running the color cubes over the card stock. Happy Birthday was cut from card stock and also from adhesive fun foam to give it some dimension. The card stock was glued to the fun foam and was finished with glossy accents.

Happy Birthday

Birthday card for a dear friend of mine, who I met over 40 years ago in a locally owned craft store. We have remained good friends over the years, even though we no longer live in the same area. čÖé

Card made using Stampin’ Up Happy Birthday thinlets and Stampin Up Daisy Delight punch. I slid my Tim Holtz distress oxide inks Worn Lipstick and Broken China across white card stock and then spritzed with water. Once dried, I cut using the Happy Birthday thinlets. I then slid Worn Lipstick ink across another piece of white card stock and spritzed with water. Once this dried, I cut three flowers with the punch to make the flower.

Another encouragement card

Another encouragement/thinking of you card, using Stampin’ Up Colorful Seasons. Background was sponged using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks. Sand was also sponged with Distress Oxide ink, on a separate piece of card stock and then torn to give the rough edge. Sentiment was heat embossed with bright white embossing powder.
