My Thanksgiving card for this year, using the Stampin’ Up Pleasant Pheasant stamp set. I stamped the image on white card stock, then masked it so I could create the background. I brushed the background with Ranger Distress Oxide inks. I then removed the masking with a battery operated eraser and colored the image with markers. Next, I cut a Peekaboo Peach piece of cards stock with Stampin’ Up Stitched Seasons framelits, and adhered the pheasant layer behind the opening. Both layers were adhered to to a cream colored heavyweight card stock. The sentiment is also from the Pleasant Pheasant stamp set.
Birthday card using Stampin’ Up Corner Garden and Happy Birthday thinlits. Stamped Corner Garden and colored with copic markers. Layered a piece of vellum over this to make it appear more translucent. Sponged card stock with distress oxide inks and then cut out the sentiment.
The flowers are from Penny Black Sunny Hello and colored with Tombow markers. Bee is from Stampin’ Up Dragonfly Dreams and stem is from Stampin’ Up Flourishing Phrases thinlets.
Sympathy card on watercolor cardstock. Stamped with Penny Black “Skyward” stamp, which was embossed with black embossing powder. Using Tim Holtz distress oxide inks, I painted the background sunset. Placed a cardinal in the tree to remind the family that their loved one is always near.
