Stained Glass Effect

I created this card using the Sue Wilson Stained Glass Collection – Sailboat die. I used the die three times on white cardstock, which I glued together for dimension. I cut it a fourth time, but kept the pieces intact by carefully taping the back after the cut, I colored the taped version using markers and glued the dimensional cuts on top. Once I had the pieces together, I covered the entire thing with glossy accents to give it the glass effect. After this was completely dry, I adhered it to a piece of marbled cardstock.

While you are healing….

My card for a stroke survivor, who is also a crafter. The inside sentiment is “As you are healing, may you feel warmth and compassion from all who care about you. Best wishes that you will soon be back to doing all the things you love.
The marble paper and doily are from ms. sparkle & co. Flower is from SU Flowering Fields. Butterflies are Recollections punch.
